In the event that School transportation is cancelled due to inclement weather and/or poor road conditions:
- Schools are closed.
- Students are not to come to school.
- All students will access asynchronous learning through their teachers’ virtual classrooms.
For ALL Parent(s)/Guardian(s):
- The decision to cancel school transportation service is region-wide, meaning all school buses, vans and taxis are not operating.
- B&A programs are closed.
- Child Care Centres remain open at the discretion of the operator.
- All learning will pivot to asynchronous, self-directed learning with review of previously assigned work. No new material will be introduced.
- Tests, quizzes and non-virtual parent meetings are cancelled for today, and will be rescheduled.
