VIP Program

The York Regional Police will be delivering their Values, Influences and Peers Program (VIP) to our Grades 6-8 students November 3, 4, 10 and 18.  A special thank you goes to our School Resource Officers for speaking to our students.

The SMS Diversity Committee aims to create opportunities to promote dialogue around racism, antisemitism and prejudice. As part of our Remembrance Day commemoration, the committee has invited a Holocaust Survivor to share their story with grades 6-8. We are grateful to have Brave Education provide a Parent Workshop to help us understand Mental Health on October 21 @ 7pm. This is a timely topic that impacts us all.
