🎄 Holiday Campaign 🎄
The Advent season is nearly upon us, marking a particularly significant and special time for our Faith Community. During this season of hope and preparation, we come together to celebrate the arrival of our Lord, Jesus, and to partake in acts of kindness and charity.
We are excited to announce our Advent/Christmas Gift Card Drive, in partnership with the St. Clare of Assisi Parish Reach Out Group. The church’s mission is to collect gift cards during Advent to support local organizations, including:
- The Vaughan Food Bank
- The Sisters of Charity
- The Sisters of Life
Additionally, we are proud to support the York Regional Police (YRP) Holiday Heroes Campaign, which helps families in need across York Region.
🎁 How You Can Help
This year, our St. Mary of the Angels Holiday Heroes Campaign will run from November 14th to December 3rd, 2024. We will be collecting:
- New unwrapped toys
- Children’s clothing
- Gift cards
To kick off our campaign, Luke 4:18 Social Justice Committee members will be in the front foyer on Thursday, November 14th during Parent-Teacher Interview night. They will be accepting ANY DONATIONS, so please stop by and say hello!
Suggested Donations by Division:
- Kindergarten & Grades 1-3: New Children’s Clothing
- Junior (Grades 4-6): Gift Cards (No Frills and Walmart preferred)
- Intermediate (Grades 7-8): New Unwrapped Toys
